Stepper Bike Assembly Manual |
SAFETY POINTS
- Always wear a HELMET!!!
- Always obey the laws of the roads.
- Wear proper safety gear when riding at night.
- The stepper is strictly a recreational bike. Do not use for anything more then having a great workout
It is not designed for bmx stunts, taking mountain biking or free ride.
TIPS HOW TO RIDE THE STEPPER
- Get use to the brakes.
- When pedaling the stepper or stepping down on the stepper please make sure that you step always down, do not step half way, that will make the chain derail off the front sprocket.
- Remember that you need to use upper body to create more leverage on your stroke.

Proper Tools
- 2.5, 4,5,6 and 8 mm Allen wrench
- 15 mm open wrench
- Phillips screwdriver
Assembly Components
- Remove the decks from the box.
- Take parts out of the box.
- Take the stepper out of the box, remove front wheel.
- Remove the protecting packaging from the stepper.
- Open the parts box and lay all the parts on a table where you can see exactly what you have.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HAMMER, WORKIT AND DIABLO
- Install the fork first, see diagram.
- Install the front wheel, see diagram.
- Install and adjust bars & brakes, see diagram.
- Install the pedals, the pedals are marked left and right.
- Before installing the decks to the frame, install bracket that comes in the parts box, see diagram.
- Install the decks to the frame, see diagram.

Fork Installation
Parts for the fork installation are in plastic bag, see diagram.
- Number 1 is an aluminum type washer, it is the biggest one in the bag
- Number 2 is a rubber washer place lay on inside the grove of the washer
- Number 3 is the aluminum washer
- Number 4 is another aluminum washer
- Number 5 Install the stem that is mounted with the handlebars, make sure the side bolts of stem are loose
- Number 6 Install long Allen bolt (this is key point of installation of the fork, its takes all the play out)
- Be very careful when installing Allen bolt. Make sure all the play is out but that you don't over tighten. This could cause the washer to brake.
- Finally make sure that the side bolts number 5 are tight.

Front Wheel Installation
MAKE SURE THAT YOU PLACE THE WHEEL IN THE CENTER, USE THE FORK MIDDLE AS GUIDE

Adjusting the Clever bars
- Make sure that you have at least 10 mm of the handle bar sticking out of the bottom.
- Double check That the bolts are all tight.
The clever bars are designed to be adjusted to what ever angle your comfortable with.

Deck Installation
- In the parts box you will find two black aluminum pieces, see diagram.
- They hold the decks to the pedals. Make sure these are tight.

Rolling Pedals Installation
- The pedals are marked left and right. Grease on the inside of the crank arms is recommended but not mandatory.
- 15MM is the correct tool for this installation.

Deck to the Frame Installation
- Place #1 washer on and use deck arm to push washer in.
- Place #2 washer on after deck arm.
- The #3 and 8MM Allen bolt go on last and tighten deck arm to stepper.

Instruction for the Junior and Spyder
- The main difference between the Junior and Spyder are the handle bars. The forks come installed to frame.
- Make sure that you do not have the stem up above the safe line.
