The Peddler was established in 1970 by Anthony "Ducky" Schiavo. At the time Ducky was an elementary school teacher and had a life changing experience after enjoying an afternoon of cycling. His revelation was that many more people should have that same experience.
Within months the first incarnation of The Peddler Bicycle Shop was opened in Long Branch, NJ.
As The Peddler moves into the future the key business philosophies of Ducky and Michael remain firm and true, "Provide knowledgeable and professional service to ensure a positive cycling and life experience". |
